The National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) announced that First Motors supported planting trees along Road 1701 in the Diplomatic Area., as part of the national afforestation campaign (Forever Green).
The campaign was launched in the presence of Shaikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of NIAD, and Nawaf Al Zayani, Managing Director of First Motors.
Shaikha Maram expressed her appreciation for First Motors’ role in supporting environmental sustainability, noting that strengthening the partnership between the public and private sectors is fundamental to achieving the campaign’s goals.
Al Zayani emphasised the importance of investing in environmental initiatives, highlighting that the company places sustainability among its strategic priorities.
He said that First Motors believes preserving the environment is a shared responsibility and that they are honoured to have supported the Forever Green campaign since its launch.
First Motors has contributed to the implementation of four tree-planting projects in several regions of the Kingdom, driven by their belief in the importance of enhancing the environmental landscape and supporting national efforts towards sustainable development.
He underlined First Motors’ commitment to continue supporting initiatives that benefit both society and the environment.
The Forever Green campaign continues its efforts to expand across the Kingdom, attracting more partnerships with institutions and companies that support Bahrain’s environmental vision, promoting sustainable development, and preserving the environmental balance for future generations.
