Water Laws and Conventions are critical for the preservation and sustainability of the water resources of the country. Bahrain has a relatively large number of laws, decrees, ordinances and regulations that have been enacted to regulate and control water use in the various consuming sectors, as well as to conserve the groundwater resource from salinization and depletion.
